Gusto Worldwide Media is a vertically integrated media company that produces, distributes, and broadcasts high quality food content.

Based in Canada, Gusto operates from its state-of-the-art facility which includes a studio, post-production plant, test kitchen, master control, and playout services. Gusto’s proprietary content includes over 500 hours of original food and lifestyle programming with 100 new hours created annually.

In 2013, Gusto Worldwide Media launched its linear TV channel and SVOD service, Gusto TV, in Canada. Gusto TV now operates channels in the US, Singapore, Latin America, UK, and other European territories, with more rollouts to come.

Chris Knight, President and CEO

Industry veteran and epicurean Chris Knight is the President and CEO of Gusto Worldwide Media. He’s known worldwide for his innovative and highly stylized culinary and lifestyle content. As head of the former Knight Enterprises, one of Canada’s most successful independent media production companies, Knight has been creating and producing hundreds of hours of original television programming since 1997.

Knight is also an award-winning writer who has authored nine best-selling cookbooks based on his popular television shows. He’s won the International Gourmand World Cookbook Award and International Golden Panda Award, both for One World Kitchen. His documentary series Crate to Plate won Best New Series at the 2017 Taste Awards and his series The Latin Kitchen won two 2018 Taste Awards. Knight also won a 2017 James Beard Award for Fish the Dish and was nominated for a 2018 James Beard Award for The Latin Kitchen. Knight’s nominations include eight James Beard Awards; three Geminis; fourteen Taste Awards; two Content Innovation Awards; one Rockie Award, and one Taste of Canada Award.

A food-lover at heart, Knight was an early advocate of regional cuisine and the slow food movement and is a visiting professor at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy. Knight is highly respected in the Canadian culinary community and is a judge for Canada’s Best 100 Restaurants.
