Gusto sells 190 hours of programming to Z Living Network
Gusto Worldwide Media has sold more than 190 hours of its original programming to Z Living Network.
The sale is an expansion of an existing deal that has previously seen Z Living, a U.S. cable and satellite network, acquire content from Gusto.
The new deal includes Licence to Grill (97 x 30 minutes), Road Grill (39 x 30 minutes), Cook Like a Chef (151 x 30 minutes), Junk Brothers (51 x 30 minutes) and The Edible Road Show (39 x 30 minutes). Gusto has previously sold Fish the Dish (30 x 30 minutes), The Urban Vegetarian (15 x 30 minutes) and Spencer’s BIG 30 (13 x 30 minutes) to Z Living.
Gusto Worldwide Media has expanded its content pipeline over the past 18 months, with its library now comprising more than 500 hours of proprietary content.
This year has been Gusto’s busiest on the international sales front. The Ottawa-based company has licensed its content to a number of global buyers including Middle East and North Africa entertainment network OSN, U.S. OTT streaming service STIRR and Latin America and U.S. OTT platform VEMOX. Most recently, Gusto inked a deal with U.S. channel Ovation TV,
which picked up DNA Dinners (16 x 30 minutes) for its travel-entertainment app Journy. Last week, Bell Media renewed Watts on the Grill for a second season.
